After the problems at Aris, Todor Valchev signed with Neftochimic

Todor Valchev will continue his career at Neftochimic 2010 (Burgas). The winner of the Bulgarian Cup and vice-champion of the country officially announced the signing of the 37-year-old receiver.
Volleyweek.bg was the first to report yesterday that Valchev was leaving Aris (Thessaloniki). The financial and management crisis at Aris has cast serious doubt on the team's participation in the new season.
Before today's training of the Burgas team, Valchev signed his contract with the president of Neftochimic 2010 Ognyan Tomov and joined the team's preparation.
The last time the receiver played in Bulgaria was for Lokomotiv Avia (Plovdiv). In the 2012/2013 season, he won the championship title and the Bulgarian Cup with Marek Union-Ivkoni. With the Dupnitsa team and Lokomotiv Avia, he became vice-champion of the country, and he also reached the final playoffs with CSKA.
Valchev has had three stints with Marek Union-Ivkoni and two each with Lokomotiv Avia and French Nancy. In France, he also played for Narbonne, and in Bulgaria, he has also played for Dea Sport and Hebar (Pazardzhik).
His career abroad also includes Hatam Ardakan and Shahrdari Gonbad in Iran, Macerata in Italy, Avtomobilist (Saint Petersburg) in Russia, Sfax in Tunisia, and Inegol Belediyespor in Turkey.
