Monza, with Bulgarian internationals Jasmin Velichkov and Iliya Petkov, lost 1:3 (23:25, 19:25, 27:25, 23:25) to Spanish champions Guaguas (Las Palmas) in a prestigious friendly match. Velichkov and Petkov participated in the match, but individual statistics have not yet been published. We remind you that Velichkov did not play in Monza's previous friendly against Milan.

The match at Parc Sportiu de Llobregat in Cornellà was organized to mark the 70th anniversary of the Catalan Volleyball Federation and half a century since the founding of the club from Gran Canaria.
The invitation for the international friendly comes after the volleyball congress in Barcelona in September, which was attended by Guaguas president Juan Ruiz.
After their visit to Catalonia, Guaguas returns to the Canary Islands, where on October 10 they will face Benfica in the semifinals of the Iberian Cup.
