Pirin (Razlog) finished in third place in the pre-season ProPlay tournament in Pernik, after defeating Slavia 3:0 (25:19, 25:19, 27:25).
The team from Razlog controlled the first two sets, which they won with an identical score - 25:19. The biggest intrigue came in the third part. Slavia managed to turn the tide and at 20:21 already had an advantage, and subsequently reached a set point with the opportunity to extend the match. However, Pirin maintained concentration in the decisive rallies and closed the set with 27:25, and with it the match.
Dimitar Dulchev was the top scorer for the winners with 17 points, Ivan Tasev added 13 (he also became the "player of the match"), and Viktor Tomov finished with 10. Pirin had an advantage in blocks - 11 against 8, as well as in attack efficiency - 52% against 38% for Slavia.

For the "whites", Obrayan Mokunie was the top scorer with 13 points, and Boris Kitov finished with 10. Slavia played their strongest set precisely in the third part, in which they scored 15 points from attack with 45% efficiency, but this was not enough to stay in the match.
