Alex Grozdanov has never been one of those athletes who put their personal lives on display. The captain of the Bulgarian national team is far more talkative on the court than on social media, but his relationship with Karin Okolie obviously no longer needs to be kept a secret.
Today, Okolie published a series of photos with Grozdanov, and one detail immediately catches the eye – the ring on her ring finger. In one of the shots, it is even placed in the center of the composition, while the two are holding hands. The message accompanying the photoshoot also speaks clearly enough.
"Sooner or later you find your person... or they find you. But there is no greater joy than waiting for each other, daring to dedicate yourselves to each other. We are immortalizing the moment," Karin wrote.
Everything points to an engagement, although the two have not published details of when and where the proposal was made. Therefore, what is certain for now is what they themselves have decided to show – the ring, the joint photoshoot, and Okolie's words.

The relationship between the two became public in the summer. Initially, Grozdanov and Okolie were quite reserved on the topic. In August, Karin confirmed to "24 Chasa" that they were together, but emphatically preferred not to go into details about their relationship. Grozdanov himself also remained true to his character and did not turn his personal life into a public topic.
Gradually, however, the two began to appear together on social media as well. Joint photos from Barcelona no longer left any doubt about their relationship, and today's post seems like the natural next step.
The story also attracts attention due to Grozdanov's status in Bulgarian volleyball. The middle blocker is the captain of the Bulgarian national team and one of our most recognizable volleyball players in recent years, and at club level, he plays for the Polish team Bogdanka LUK Lublin.
Karin Okolie also comes from sports. She is a former national athlete of Bulgaria in sprint disciplines, and after the end of her active career, she continued her development in the media and as a digital content creator.
And if in the summer the two were still carefully choosing what to share from their personal lives, this time the message is much clearer. Without a loud announcement and without unnecessary ostentation – completely in Grozdanov's style. Just a few photos, a few words, and a ring that says enough.
