Burgas volleyball club "Deya Volley" continues its ambitious selection for the 2025/2026 season, having attracted the Iranian middle blocker Hadi Shorkabi to its squad. With his impressive 207 cm, the 27-year-old player will make his first breakthrough in European volleyball, signing a contract with the Bulgarian team.
Shorkabi is a player with already accumulated professional experience in the Iranian Super League and is a proven player at the center of the net. He last played for Giti Pasand Isfahan, one of the competitive clubs in the Iranian championship.
His transfer to Europe is a logical next step in his career, aiming for performance at a higher level and facing strong international competition.
"This move represents an important stage in Hadi's development - an opportunity to demonstrate his qualities outside his homeland and establish himself on the European stage," his management agency announced.
Shorkabi is expected to bring stability in blocking and power in attack, contributing significantly to Deya Volley's ambitions in Efbet Super Volley.
