"Communication of Sports Events" - Milyana Veleva combined journalism, sports, and academic experience in a book

Long-time sports journalist and lecturer Milyana Veleva presented her book "Communication of Sports Events" in Sofia. The premiere of the monograph took place at the Greenwich Literary Center and gathered prominent names from Bulgarian journalism.
The book is published by St. Kliment Ohridski University Press and is aimed at an increasingly important part of modern sports - communication around sports events. The topic directly affects the work of clubs, federations, and organizers and how their competitions reach the media and the public.
The importance of such communication is growing as major sports forums become events that far exceed the competition itself. Media presentation, connection with the audience, and the work of sports organizations with journalists are now part of the overall organization of a tournament or championship.
Veleva is a lecturer at the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication at St. Kliment Ohridski University of Sofia. Her career began as a reporter, after which she worked as a host, editor, and commentator and held management positions in news and current affairs programs.
Currently, Milyana Veleva combines her teaching activities with her work at the Bulgarian Olympic Committee.
