Halkbank played its first friendly match with a full squad after the national team players returned from their national team commitments. The team led by Radostin Stoychev faced the newcomer to the Turkish elite, Sungurlu Belediyespor.
Halkbank published photos from the match, as well as an interesting moment with the first ace by Brazilian star Darlan Souza. The result of the friendly was not announced.
For Halkbank, this was the first opportunity in a game setting to gather the entire squad with which they will attack the new season. It includes Matey Kaziyski and Denislav Bardarov, and among the big names in the selection, besides Darlan, is also Dutch international Thijs ter Horst. American setter Micah Ma'a also continues in Ankara.
There was also Bulgarian presence on the other side of the net. For the new season, outside hitter Kaloyan Balabanov will play for Sungurlu Belediyespor.

Thus, the friendly brought together three Bulgarian volleyball players, and Halkbank continues its preparation under the guidance of Radostin Stoychev.

Halkbank will start the new season in the Efeler League on October 17 with a home game against Galatasaray. The first-round match is scheduled for 4:00 PM in the "TVF Ziraat Bankkart" hall in Ankara and will be broadcast on TRT Spor Yıldız.
