Our national women's U22 volleyball team started their European Championship qualifiers in excellent fashion, after crushing Luxembourg 3:0 (25:16, 25:8, 25:14) in Hristo Botev Hall in Sofia.

Dragan Nesic's girls left no chances for their modest opponent. From the very first set, Viktoria Koeva's serve and stable block gave an early lead, which our team maintained without problems. The second set turned into a true demonstration of superiority, ending with an impressive 25:8.

In the third set, the Bulgarians again dictated the tempo and closed the match in just over an hour of play. Thus, Bulgaria convincingly began its path to EuroVolley 2026 in the Netherlands.

Our next match is tomorrow at 5:30 PM against Croatia, who lost 2:3 to Serbia.
