Olympic champion will play shoulder to shoulder with Mika Stoyanova and Tsvetomira Mitkova in Megabox Vallefoglia

Megabox Ondulati del Savio Vallefoglia continues to build an impressive squad for the upcoming 2025/26 season. After the transfer window officially closed, the club introduced its star signing – Italian international Loveth Omoruyi.

But no less important is the fact thatMika Stoyanova and Tsvetomira Mitkova will play in this squad, forming a core that promises to make Vallefoglia one of the most exciting projects in Serie A1. The two Bulgarians will have the opportunity to share the court with Omoruyi and together fight for new heights in Italian volleyball.

🏆 Loveth Omoruyi's Star Career

Born in 2002 and standing 184 cm tall, Omoruyi is among the most promising competitors in Europe. She already has a rich display of accolades behind her:

  • 🏅2 Italian championship titles,

  • 🏆2 Italian Cups,

  • 🥇2 Italian Supercupsanda Champions League trophy, all with Conegliano,

  • 🥈a CEV Cup with Chieri,

  • 🥇 and a gold medal fromthe Olympic Games in Paris 2024with the Italian national team.

Her career has taken her through Pro Patria Milano, three seasons at Club Italia Crai, two at Conegliano, a year at Busto Arsizio, and two seasons as a starter at Chieri. With the national teams, she has won European and World titles in almost all age categories, including individual awards for best attacker.

🗣 What the coach and Omoruyi herself say

Vallefoglia's coach Andrea Pistola shared:

"We welcome a player with enormous potential. In the past, she hasn't always been able to express herself consistently, but I believe this will be her season of affirmation."

For her part, Loveth Oge Oghosa Omoruyi explained her choice:

"I wanted a change and chose Vallefoglia with my heart. I'm looking for stability and mutual trust. I hope this will be a turning point in my career. I want to help the team achieve goals never before reached."
