Radosław Parapunov parted ways with PGE GiEK Skra Bełchatów

Radoslav Parapunov officially leaves the Polish powerhouse PGE GiEK Skra Bełchatów, after spending less than eight months with the team. The news was confirmed by the club's management on Thursday afternoon.

"Radoslav Parapunov, who joined PGE GiEK Skra during last season, will no longer defend the colors of the Bełchatów club," states the official announcement.

With this, Parapunov becomes the fifth player to bid farewell to the team after the end of the 2024/2025 season. Before him, Miran Kujundžić, Žiga Štern, Kajetan Marek, and Rafał Buszek left the club.

Parapunov's career before and in Poland

The 26-year-old opposite from Sofia arrived in Bełchatów at the end of December 2024, after training with CSKA Sofia. He was brought to the Polish team to replace Kristian Valčak, who moved to the Korean V-League.

Before that, the Bulgarian played for a number of foreign clubs, including Serbian Vojvodina NS Seme Novi Sad, Iranian Shahdab Yazd, and German Helios Grizzlies Gießen, where he spent a short time at the beginning of the 2024/2025 season.

Performance and Departure

For Skra Bełchatów, Parapunov played 5 official matches, scoring a total of 13 points. Despite the modest statistics, the club highlighted his professionalism and willingness to help the team.

"The popular 'Rado' was always ready to help the team. He is an accurate and conscientious player, who did not find it easy to fight for a place in the squad with Amin. We thank him for the time spent in our club, for his approach and professionalism in every aspect of the team's life," said Michał Bąkiewicz, President of the Management Board of KPS Skra Bełchatów.
