The Bulgarian national volleyball team for girls under 19 started its participation in the World Championship, which this year is held in Croatia and Serbia. Our girls were placed inGroup C, with all their matches to be played in the city of Osijek.
🏆 Ambitions and attitudes
Bulgaria enters the tournament with the confidence of a 2024 European champion and a current 2025 Balkan champion. Expectations for the young "lionesses" are high, and the goal is to solidify their position among the best on the planet and fight for a spot in the final eight.
📅 Championship format
This year's U19 Girls' World Championship brings together 24 teams, divided into four groups.
The top four teams from each group qualify for the round of sixteen. The winners continue the battle for the title in the first eight (1st-8th place), while the losers form the second eight (9th-16th place).
The teams finishing 5th and 6th in the group will play in playoffs for the distribution of places 17-24.
All phases of the tournament are playoff-based, which guarantees interesting clashes until the very end.
