She joins the team, led by Marco Gaspari, after a strong season in Turkey with champions VakifBank Spor Kulubu. A brilliant world-class career
Born on February 2, 1994, in Busto Arsizio, Caterina Bosetti is part of the famous Bosetti volleyball family. She began her professional career in the Amatori Orago academy, and at just 15, she debuted in Serie A1 with Villa Cortese, where she won two Italian Cups.
Her international career is marked by numerous successes: gold at the U19 European Championship in 2010, gold and MVP at the U20 World Championship in 2011, and with the women's national team – World Cup (2011), two Nations Leagues (2022, 2024), bronze from the World Championship (2022), and Olympic gold from Paris 2024.
Experience in the biggest leagues
Bosetti has a rich international career, playing for top clubs in Brazil (Osasco) and Turkey (Galatasaray, VakifBank), as well as for a number of leading Italian teams such as Novara, Modena, and Casalmaggiore. Her last participation with VakifBank brought the Turkish title and qualification for the Final Four in the Champions League.
