After an exhausting victory over the Netherlands, Stefano Lavarini's volleyball players had less than 24 hours of rest before facing the representatives of the USA. The meeting was a kind ofmini-revengefor the painful loss that the Poles suffered at the Olympic Games in Paris last year. Despite a weak start, the "white-reds" stabilized their game and won the match 3:1 sets.

Out of five matches so far, Lavarini's volleyball players have four wins, with the only loss being to Turkey after a dramatic tie-break.
