The Bulgarian volleyball player returns to the team for the second week of the Nations League and is already full of energy, ambition, and smiles
Bulgarian national player Radostina attracted the attention of journalists and fans not only with her enthusiasm before the upcoming matches, but also with her sense of humor and her emotional connection with the team. During the official press conference before the start of the second week of the VNL tournament in Hong Kong, she spoke about the team's balance, her motivation to help, and... with whom she would celebrate in the locker room.
⚖️ Balance between youth and experience
"Our team is very well balanced - it consists of both experienced and young, talented athletes. I think that this balance helps us in such situations,"
- Radostina shared in response to a question about Bulgaria's dramatic victories in the first week.
💪 Return with ambition
"I am very happy to be back and to be with the team again. I am ready to give my all to help. Two years ago, when we played here in Hong Kong, the atmosphere in the hall was incredible. Now I am even more excited to start the week,"
- added the Bulgarian opposite hitter.
🎤 Star parties after a victory?
When asked which celebrity she would celebrate with in the locker room after a victory, Radostina answered without hesitation:
"I would probably invite an athlete. He is a basketball player, Bulgarian - Vezenkov. He is very good. He played in the NBA, so I think he will fit our energy."
With this answer, she caused smiles in the hall and gave further proof that our volleyball girls not only play with grit, but also with spirit and national pride. Currently, Radostina is friends with another Bulgarian volleyball player - setter Nikolay Manchev.
