Bulgarian opposite Hristiyan Dimitrov will wear the jersey of the Italian volleyball club Consar Ravenna during the 2025 season in Serie A2.This will be the Varna native's first participation in the second strongest division of Italian volleyball, after three seasons of experience in Serie A3. 🌍 From Varna to Ravenna – a long journey with accumulated experience
Hristiyan Dimitrov was born on November 2, 1999, in Varna and plays as an opposite. In recent years, he has gained valuable experience in various European championships – Iceland, Germany, Belgium, Hungary, as well as in Bulgaria, where he played for Hebar (Pazardzhik).
In December 2022, he moved to the Italian team Wimore Parma, and in the 2023/24 season, he played for Smartsistem Fano and later for Sarlux Sarroch, with whom he demonstrated stable form.

🇧🇬 Bulgarian connection in the team
Dimitrov will have another Bulgarian as a teammate – Samuil Valchinov, with whom he shares training camps in the Bulgarian national teams. Thus, Hristiyan becomes the ninth Bulgarian in Ravenna's history, and he will wear number 1 – the same number he played with in Fano and Sarroch. The grandson of the legend of Bulgarian volleyball, Dimitar Zlatanov - Manuel, is also in the team.
