Nachev began his volleyball career at his hometown clubCherno More BASK – Varna, joining the first team in the 2020–21 season. Since then, he has been an integral part of the squad, growing into a key figure. In the 2024–25 season, he distinguished himself as abest attackerin the Bulgarian Super League.
After five consecutive years with his home club, Nachev takes an important step in his career – moving to one of the strongest championships in the world – the Italian Super League, with the team ofSonepar Padua.

Boris Nachev is a well-known name in the ranks of the Bulgarian national teams. He has participated in both junior and men's squads:
