➡️ Miyaura was the top scorer in the match. Tuinstra was the only Dutchman with a double-digit score, which highlights the lack of attacking depth.

The "Samurai" have already recorded victories against China, Serbia, and the Netherlands, with their only defeat so far coming from the league leader Poland. With this strong performance, Japan climbed to 4th place in the world rankings, as well as 2nd place in the current VNL standings.

In contrast, the Netherlands has not managed to find stable form - they have only one victory, achieved against Turkey, and losses to Poland, China, and Japan. This leaves them in 14th position in the world rankings and 14th place in the VNL - far from their ambitions for the final phase.

The match against Japan highlighted the difference in class - both in terms of attack effectiveness and in terms of discipline and service.
