Bulgaria one step away from semi-finals at Balkan U19 Volleyball Championship in Albania

The Bulgarian national team for girls U19 demonstrated excellent form and confidence in its first two matches of the Balkan Championship, which is held from June 11 to 15 in the Albanian capital, Tirana.

The young "lionesses" recordedtwo decisive victoriesin Group B and are now one step away from the semifinals.

🏆 Victory with character against Turkey

In one of the most anticipated clashes in the group, Bulgaria faced the traditionally strong team ofTurkey. Although the opponent entered the match with ambitions for leadership, the Bulgarians imposed their will andwon 3:1(25-21, 25-18, 10-25, 25-21).

Strong initial serve, stable block, and excellent organization in defense were the keys to success. The Bulgarian team managed to come back in the fourth set after a slump in the third, which shows high concentration and character.

🧱 Convincing start against North Macedonia

In their first match of the group stage, Bulgaria defeatedNorth Macedonia 3:0, imposing control from the very beginning of the match. The young volleyball players showed excellent teamwork and diverse attack, which did not allow the opponent to effectively resist.
