France's head coach Andrea Giani has announced the final 14-player roster for EuroVolley 2026, featuring only one significant change compared to the squad with which "Les Bleus" concluded their participation in the Nations League.
Experienced outside hitter Trevor Clevenot returns to the squad, having missed the last week of the VNL in Chicago due to a right ankle injury.
His injury was sustained in the match against Japan on June 28, and his place for the matches in the USA was taken by Toma Pujol.
It is Clevenot who is now back among Giani's chosen players for the European Championship, while Pujol did not make the final list.
This means that France arrives at EuroVolley with practically the same core squad that played the entire international season, but with the recovered Clevenot in the lineup.
Théo Faure is also in the lineup. The opposite hitter missed the start of the Nations League due to a herniated disc but returned for the last week of the tournament and remains one of France's two opposite hitters alongside Stephen Boyer.
Clevenot has already shown he is recovered, participating in France's last warm-up matches before the European Championship.

France is in Pool D of EuroVolley, which crosses over with Bulgaria's Pool B in the Round of 16. Thus, "Les Bleus" are among the possible opponents for our national team in the first phase of direct eliminations in Sofia.
In a potential clash, Bulgaria will face a slightly different French squad than the one we saw at the end of the VNL – primarily due to the return of Trevor Clevenot.
