The male national volleyball team recorded their second loss in the Nations League, after losing to Canada 0:3 (22:25, 28:30, 24:26) in their second match of Group 1, with the matches being held in the Turkish resort of Antalya.
Our country's rejuvenated squad has its chances, but in crucial situations, the experience of the 'Maple Leaves' weighed in their favor. Coach Blengini tried to influence the result by making several substitutions, and Georgi Tatarov showed stable play in this match as well.
The top scorer for our team was Dimitar Dimitrov - 15 points (2 aces), Georgi Tatarov added 13 points (1 ace, 2 blocks). For Canada, Eric Loeppky scored 14 points (1 ace), Stephen Maar added 13 points (1 ace, 3 blocks).
Tomorrow (May 25), our team, led by Gianlorenzo Blengini, will face the USA at 8:00 PM Bulgarian time.
We also lost to Canada, Tatarov continued to show a stable game
