Bulgarian volleyball star Miroslava Paskova, former captain of the national team, will join the American professional league League One Volleyball (LOVB) in the 2026 season – one of the most significant events in her career. Although her move to LOVB is confirmed, it remains unclear which team she will play for – a fact that sparks interest and anticipation among fans.

Paskova is a long-standing national team player, former captain of the national team, with a long international career behind her. This summer, she is not part of the national team squad as she underwent surgery on her left ankle.
In May 2023, Paskova suffered a fibula fracture, which sidelined her from the national team.
Then Mira underwent an operation. The current intervention was undertaken on that occasion. The procedure took place on May 25, and Paskova is currently recovering successfully.
Her move to the newly established professional league in the USA is a logical step up. LOVB is attracting more and more international stars and aims to establish itself as a leading force in global women's volleyball. Besides Paskova, new additions include Magdalena Jurczyk (Poland) and Indre Sorokaite (Italy). Their specific teams have also not been announced, suggesting that the league intends to reveal full rosters later this summer.
