The Polish women's national volleyball team recorded a second consecutive victory in the Nations League, defeating hosts China 3-1 (25:22, 20:25, 25:19, 25:21) in Beijing.
The Poles showed excellent form and character, even though the Chinese did not play with their strongest lineup. Martyna Czyrniańska was again among the best on the court, supported by the powerful Magdalena Stysiak and captain Agnieszka Korneluk. Libero Aleksandra Szczygłowska shone in defense.
Head coach Stefano Lavarini relied on the same lineup from the victory over Thailand, and the return of Olivia Różański provided additional stability. The victory brings three new points to Poland, which, as hosts, has already secured participation in the tournament finals in Łódź, but has not slowed down since the beginning of the competition.
China: Wu (13), Zhuang (17), Gong (3), Wang (14), Chen (1), Zhang (1), Tang (12), Zou (1), Wan (5), Yang (2), Dong (3), Wang (libero)
