Men's Volleyball World Championship 2025 with an impressive display in Times Square

The FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship 2025 gained impressive international visibility with its appearance on a digital billboard in Times Square, New York – one of the most recognizable and busiest pedestrian areas in the world. This key marketing action is part of the local organizing committee's campaign to promote the championship, which will be held in the Philippines from September 12 to 28, 2025.

The tournament will take place in Pasay and Quezon City, part of Metropolitan Manila, and will be historic for several reasons. This will bethe Philippines' first time hostingthe Men's Volleyball World Championship andthe first edition in Asia in over 30 years. The event also marks a new stage in the tournament's history – from 2025 onwards, it will be heldevery two yearsand will feature32 teamscompared to the previous 24.

During a visit to New York,the Philippine national teamwitnessed the World Championship advertisement displayed on the billboard. The team was in the city for an exhibition match against a selection of Filipino-American players – part of efforts to engage the community and build interest around the upcoming championship.
