Gebze Belediyespor Volleyball Club, which won the Turkish Men's First League last season and qualified for the elite SMS Grup Efeler Ligi, strengthened its squad with the experienced Moldovan outside hitter Dmitrii Bahov. The 35-year-old player (197 cm, spike reach 338 cm) will wear the Gebze jersey in the 2024/25 season.

Dmitrii Bahov is well-known in Balkan and Turkish volleyball circles for his rich international career. Among his more significant teams are:
