Isabelle Haak concluded her participation in the Women's European Championship with a historic achievement. The Swedish star scored247 points in seven matchesand set a new record for the most points in a single edition of EuroVolley.
The Swedes were eliminated in the quarterfinals after losing to world champion Italy with 1:3 (21:25, 26:24, 21:25, 23:25), but Haak once again played a phenomenal match. The opposite hitter finished with42 points, once again showing why she is among the best volleyball players in the world.

With her247 points, Haak broke Tijana Bošković's previous record. The Serbian star had finished EuroVolley 2023 with 229 points. The Swede finished the current championship with an average of35.28 points per match and 9.15 points per set.
Even more impressive is Haak's consistency. In six of her seven matches in the championship, she surpassed the 30-point mark. The only exception was the first match against Italy in the group stage, when she scored 15 points.

The numbers show the scale of her performance – 232 out of a total of 247 points came in the six matches where she surpassed the 30-point mark. In the two elimination matches alone, Haak scored a total of 73 points – 31 against Czechia and 42 against Italy. Haak also set a second impressive record at this European Championship. In the match against Croatia, she scored an incredible 52 points – the highest individual achievement in a single EuroVolley match. Even more remarkably, the Swedish superstar holds the three highest individual point achievements in a single European Championship match – 52 against Croatia in 2026, 42 against Italy in the quarter-finals of the current championship, and 42 against Finland in 2021. Thus, Sweden exited EuroVolley 2026 in the quarter-finals, but the championship will forever be remembered in history with the name of Isabelle Haak. 247 points in seven matches, more than 35 on average per match, and two new records – a tournament that will be hard to repeat.
