The Bulgarian presence in the Italian volleyball Serie A3 will be even stronger next season. National player Hristiyan Dimitrov confirmed his stay at "Sardolux Sarok" for a second consecutive season, while young talent Kaloyan Valchinov will take his first steps abroad with the "Energytime Spike Devils Campobasso" team. The latter transfer has not yet been officially confirmed by the club.

The opposite hitter, born in 1998, played an impressive first season with "Sardolux Sarok", quickly becoming a key figure with both his powerful attack and his leadership presence on the court. Club president Mario Susini did not hide his satisfaction with the continuation of the cooperation:

Dimitrov remains a solid starter in "Gialloblu's" plans, and in addition to his club commitments, he continues his participation with the Bulgarian national team in preparation for the upcoming Volleyball Nations League (VNL).
The 20-year-old Kaloyan Valchinov joins the Bulgarian presence in Serie A3. The young athlete, who defended the colors of Montana last season and reached the final of the Bulgarian Cup, signed with "Energytime Spike Devils Campobasso."
This is Valchinov's first international transfer.
EnergyTime Spike Devils Campobasso is an Italian men's volleyball club from the city of Campobasso, Molise region. In the 2024/2025 season, the team will debut in Serie A3 - the third level of Italian volleyball, after winning promotion from Serie B, achieving success in the regular season, playoffs, and the Italian Cup for its category.
Spike Devils compete in the "Blue" pool (Girone Blu) of Serie A3, which includes strong opponents such as Ortona, Castellana Grotte, Gioia del Colle, and Napoli. Their home matches are held at the PalaVazzieri hall in Campobasso.
In the 2024/2025 season, the team was led by coach Giuseppe Bua, with Mariano Maniscalco at the helm earlier in the season. The squad includes players such as the experienced opposite hitter Michele Morelli, who has surpassed 5000 career points, and Pietro Margutti.
Despite difficulties in the regular season, Spike Devils managed to retain their place in Serie A3, thanks to a strong performance in the playouts, where they recorded five wins in seven matches.
With the acquisition of Kaloyan Valchinov, a 20-year-old Bulgarian volleyball player, the team demonstrates its commitment to development and integration of young talents into its squad.
