A day before departing for Poland, where they will participate in the Silesia Cup tournament, the men's national team met with the mayor of Samokov, Dr. Eng. Angel Dzhogov.

The mayor also welcomed representatives of the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation. This summer, the city will serve as a training base for several national teams preparing for important international competitions, including European and World Championships, as well as the Volleyball Nations League.

The meeting was attended by the President of the BVF, Lyubomir Ganev, Vice-President David Davidov, members of the Management Board, and the legendary volleyball player Vladimir Nikolov. Mayor Dzhogov expressed his joy at the presence of the elite athletes in the city and wished them success. Ganev emphasized the excellent training conditions at the "SamElion" sports complex, which meet the federation's needs.

The head coach of the national team, Gianlorenzo Blengini, and captain Alex Grozdanov also expressed satisfaction with the base and shared their motivation for the upcoming tournaments.

The team is leaving for Poland, where they will participate in a friendly tournament against the hosts, Germany, and Ukraine.

The BVF thanked all its partners and sponsors who support the development of volleyball in Bulgaria, emphasizing the importance of their support for the future of the sport.
