The Polish national volleyball team faces challenges in its preparation for the 2025 Nations League after one of the debutants,Mateusz Nowak, suffered a serious injury during practice. As a result, he will not participate in the upcoming matches and training sessions. CoachNikola Grbicwill have to rearrange his plans for both the Silesia Cup (May 28–31 in Katowice and Gliwice) and the Nations League matches, starting onJune 11.
The Polish Volleyball Federation reacted quickly and announced thatSeweryn Lipinski, a middle blocker born in 2001 and playing forCuprum Stilon Gorzów, will replace the injured Nowak in the list of 30 players submitted to FIVB.

Lipinski will join a group of six other debutants, including:
Maksymilian Czunkiewicz
Kajetan Gracyak
Aliaksei Kubitski
Jakub Nasewicz
Jordan Zaleszczyk
(and the already withdrawn) Mateusz Nowak
The situation shows how intense the season has been for the volleyball players – some of them are only now joining the preparation after a well-deserved rest.
