Born in 2006, Pavlin is a product of the academy ofDea Volley Burgasand has already shown stable play in the domestic championship. His transition to the American collegiate scene is a logical step in his development, especially given the growing interest in Bulgarian players in the USA.

The University of Charleston, although an NCAA Division II university in principle, competes at the highest level in men's volleyball, where there is no division between Division I and II. In recent seasons, the team has solidified its position as competitive in EIVA, even with victories against major programs like Penn State.

Pavlin Ivanov's presence in the squad will certainly strengthen the "Golden Eagles"' block and bring new energy in the upcoming season.
At the same time, Valentin Bratoev remains at Dea, as does setter Ivan Uzunov. Libero Ivan Dunkov and outside hitter Hristiyan Kirov will also be part of the Burgas team's squad next season. Teodor Todorov is moving to CSKA, which will leave the team's middle exposed and suggests an intensified search for new players in that position.
