In the first match of the friendly four-team tournament "President Koszalin Cup" in Poland, in which the national team of Bulgaria also participates, France defeated Sweden with a decisive 3:0 (25:17, 25:20, 27:25). The French team, led by the excellent Imane Ndiaye, showed greater consistency and efficiency throughout the match. Although the Swedes started stronger in the first and second sets, leading 4:1 and 3:0 respectively, the French quickly managed to equalize and impose their advantage.

Key moments for France were the effective attacks of Fatoumata Fanguedou from the center, as well as the stable performance of Amelie Rotar in attack.

The Swedish team, led by Bulgaria's former coach Lorenzo Micelli, played without their big star Isabelle Haak, made too many unforced errors, especially in reception and serve, which prevented them from putting up a more serious fight. Although in the third set the Swedes managed to make up a significant deficit and even tied the score at 22:22 after an ace by substitute Maja Tabron, the composure of the French at the end brought them a 27:25 victory.
