Slovenian star Rok Možič included Bulgaria among the eight national teams that, in his opinion, have a real chance to reach the Final Four of the Men's European Championship.
The outside hitter spoke to the Polish publication "Strefa Siatkówki" after the end of the Hubert Wagner Memorial in Krakow, where the Slovenians concluded their participation with three defeats.
"There are many really strong teams in Europe, especially Poland and Italy. After them are France, Bulgaria, Ukraine, and Turkey. There are perhaps eight teams, each of which can reach the Final Four. That's why we have to fight extremely hard and show our best to get where we want to be," Možič stated.
Slovenia's main goal is the European title, which in 2026 has additional value due to the direct Olympic quota for Los Angeles 2028.
"Now we are focused on the European Championship. This is the most important event of the season. We know that the winner qualifies directly for the Olympic Games, and that is our goal. But it will be difficult," added the Slovenian international.
