A special traffic organization around "Arena 8888" hall will be introduced during the European Men's Volleyball Championship in Sofia. Parking options will be provided for spectators along "Asen Yordanov" Blvd., as well as additional public transport after the matches conclude.
Parking and traffic around "Arena 8888"
During the tournament, stopping and parking of vehicles will be allowed along "Asen Yordanov" Blvd. – in the section from "Ploshtad na Aviatsiyata" to "Shipchenski Prohod" Blvd., without affecting public transport stops.

On September 9, Bulgaria opens its participation in EuroVolley 2026 against North Macedonia, which is why the parking regime comes into effect later – from 5:00 PM. On the other specified days, parking will be available from 3:00 PM.
Vehicle entry on "Asen Yordanov" Blvd. in both directions will be prohibitedonly when the capacity of the adjacent parking lot of "Arena 8888" is fulland by order of the "Traffic Police" Department at SDVR. The restriction will not apply to public transport.

The most significant reinforcement of public transport is planned after the evening matches. Additional trolleybuses will be included in case of crowds and as needed, at the discretion of the "Traffic Police".
The special organization will be in effect on match days in Sofia –September 9–16, 19, 20 and 22.
