Here's who will be the captain of Poland

Despite initial speculation that Bartosz Kurek might step down from the captain's role in the Polish national volleyball team, coach Nikola Grbic confirmed that he will continue to fulfill this function.

In an interview with "Przeglad Sportowy", Grbic revealed that he had spoken with Kurek and the attacker had expressed his readiness to continue as captain if the coach wished so.

However, Nikola Grbic noted that at the beginning of the season, especially during the first stage of the Nations League in Xi'an, China (June 11-15), when Kurek will not participate in all tournaments, the captain's armband will likely be entrusted to another player. This first stage will serve as an opportunity for younger players and those training in Spala to showcase their skills.

Thus, although Bartosz Kurek officially remains captain, there will be moments at the beginning of the season when another volleyball player will perform this role on the court. In the past, Aleksander Sliwka has already replaced Kurek as captain during Nations League tournaments.
