One final, two Polish titans – who will earn it?

🏐Polish semi-final in the Champions League - who will go to the final?🇵🇱

The group stage of this year's Champions League went perfectly for the Polish representatives. Similar to PGE Projekt Warszawa, bothAluron CMC Warta Zawiercie, as well asJastrzębski Węgielwon their groups with a perfect 6:0 win-loss record.

The "Knights" from Zawiercie had to deal with Allianz Milano, Knack Roeselare, and Hypo Tirol Innsbruck, while the "Hawks" successfully passed through SVG Luneburg, Chaumont VB, and Levski Sofia - groups that required maximum concentration and consistency.

🎯Quarter-final challenges

By reaching the quarter-finals, the Polish teams avoided the playoffs, but this did not mean an easy path awaited them.Aluron CMCdid not encounter significant problems with Luneburg, butJastrzębskilost the first match against Olympiakos Piraeus 2:3. Nevertheless, with a strong reaction in the second match, the team secured its place in the Final Four.

🤕Injuries took their toll

Both teams had their problems in the decisive phases of the season. In the semi-final of the Polish Ekstraklasa,Jastrzębskilost its libero Jakub Popiwczak. His replacement Jurczyk performed admirably, but Popiwczak's experience and stability were often missed. Meanwhile,Aluron CMChad to urgently react to Karol Butryn's injury. Georg Grozer joined the team, but only for the local league. For the Champions League, Butryn has already recovered and is ready to play.

The Final Four will be the last chance for players to prove themselves before the national teams gather. Among them are the names of Tomasz Fornal, Jakub Popiwczak, Norbert Huber, and Jordan Zaleszczyk – all from the squad ofJastrzębski. On the other side, we will see equally class volleyball players – Mateusz Bieniek, Karol Butryn, as well as setters Benjamin Toniutti and Miguel Tavares.
