Bulgarian beach stars are back on stage!🏐🌊
With strong Bulgarian participation and even more impressive international competition, the second edition of the Futures tournament from the Beach Pro Tour series at Venid Beach in Sveti Vlas promises to be one of the most spectacular volleyball events this summer.
Dimitar Kalchev & Dimitar Mehandzhiyski – our leading men's pair (#169 in the world ranking) will lead the Bulgarian team in the main draw. Mario Iliev & Simeon Aleksandrov, Konstantin Stoykov & Lachezar Stoimenov, and Kaloyan Balabanov & Nikolay Kolev will also join them. Martin Yochev & Denislav Dimitrov will also compete in the qualifiers 💪
In the women's main draw, we will see four Bulgarian duos – Desislava Nikolova & Irena Mishonova, Vili Tsenova & Raya Tsenova, Eva Petrova & Ivet Gavrailova, and Darina Kindova & Eleonora Gicheva, while Elena Hristova & Antonia Nikolova will try to make it through the qualifiers 🙌
Following last year's success, this year's tournament attracts a record number of participants – 36 men's and 34 women's pairs from 28 countries, including medalists from world and European championships in all age groups.
