Former national setter Lyubomir Agontsev officially signed a contract with Pirin (Razlog), marking his return to the club where he played during the 2021/22 and 2022/23 seasons. This was confirmed by the club today. We reported on the upcoming transfer last month, but the documents were signed at the beginning of the week. After his stint at CSKA last season, Agontsev will once again wear the jersey of the Razlog team, with his contract being for one year.
This transfer is part of Pirin's efforts to strengthen its squad for the upcoming efbet Super Volley campaign. Agontsev has extensive experience in Bulgarian volleyball, including playing for teams such as Montana, Hebar, and Neftochimic 2010, and will be a key figure in Pirin's ambitions for a better performance.
Pirin's coach, Blagovest Katranzhiev, expressed confidence that Agontsev's return will contribute to the team's stability and success in the new season.
With this move, Pirin demonstrates serious intentions for the upcoming campaign, aiming for better results and establishing itself among the leading teams in Bulgarian volleyball. The team continues with its selection.
