❌ The Turkish club tried to attract three starsonly for the final stage of the tournament:

  • 🧱Robertlandy Simon (middle blocker, Piacenza)

  • 🔥Nouomory Keita (opposite hitter, Verona), with whom Stoychev reached the Italian Cup final. Meanwhile, Keita signed with Qatari Al Rayyan SC, with which he will participate in the Asian Club Championship finals. There he will be joined by Nimir Abdel-Aziz and Tine Urnaut.

CEV categorically refused to approve these short-term transfers, citing the rules for player registration in the Champions League. Thus,Halkbank will have to rely on its available squadagainst the powerful Italian teamSir Susa Vim Perugia, led by Angelo Lorenzetti.
📌 Radostin Stoychev takes over Halkbank fromIgor Kolaković, who led the team to the semifinals. It is Stoychev who will have the task of confronting the Italian giant with limited resources, but with his rich experience and motivation to return to the European top.

📅 The semifinal between Halkbank and Perugia will be played this Friday, May 16, in Lodz. The Champions League final is scheduled for May 18.
