Russia chose Ningbo – the city of the Nations League finals – for its training camp

The Russian national volleyball team will hold its preparationfrom May 15 to 25 in the Chinese city of Ningbo, which this summer will hostthe "Final Eight" of the Nations League. This will be the team's first camp in China in history, and the choice of location is not accidental - despite Russia's absence from the tournament, the coaching staff is looking for an international environment for adaptation and development. 🏐

The squad featuresthree Lokomotiv Novosibirsk volleyball players -Ilya Kazachenkov, Ilyas Kurkaev and Dmitry Lyzik, which makes the club second in representation after Dynamo Moscow (7 players).📣 "We received a good offer from the Chinese federation. The camp will help us prepare for the matches in Serbia and exchange experience with Chinese volleyball. Many guys deserved a call-up, but the squad reflects current form and health status," shared head coach Konstantin Bryansky. He added that veterans like Mikhailov, Volkov, and Tetyukhin are absent to recover or for valid reasons.
