Denislav Bardarov will not continue with Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina next season. The Bulgarian outside hitter leaves the club after half a season in which he managed to establish himself and left excellent impressions both with his play and his professional conduct. Bardarov joined Grottazzolina in the middle of the season, after playing a few matches with CSKA in the Challenge Cup tournament.

The 200-centimeter outside hitter joined the newcomer in Serie A1 when the team was fighting to stay in the Superliga. He integrated perfectly into a well-coordinated and ambitious team, which also included Georgi Tatarov, and quickly earned a role on the court. With great effort in training and a desire to be useful to the team, he impressed the coaching staff and won the hearts of the fans.
