Another piece of news from volleyweek has been confirmed: Tsvetomira Mitkova is also going to Italy

As we announced last month, Tsvetomira Mitkova, a middle blocker for the volleyball club "Levski Sofia", will continue her career in Italy. This is the elite Italian team "Megabox Vallefoglia". She joins the club together with another young Bulgarian player - Mikaela Stoyanova.

The 187-centimeter Mitkova has been part of "Levski's" women's team for the past 5 years, making a key contribution to the team's development and successes since its revival. She has established herself as an excellent middle blocker and participated in winning bronze medals in the 2023/2024 season and silver medals in the 2024/2025 season. Tsvetomira also left a good impression with her performances in European tournaments, including the Round of 16 against "Roma" in the CEV Challenge Cup.

The transfer is made possible thanks to the partnership between "Levski Sofia" and "Megabox Vallefoglia". Tsvetomira caught the attention of the Italian club during pre-season friendlies and is now part of their squad for the new season.

Tsvetomira Mitkova herself expressed gratitude to "Levski Sofia", Vladimir Nikolov, and her manager for the opportunity to develop in one of the strongest championships. She shared her excitement and desire to prove herself and learn more at the new club, describing the farewell to "Levski" as a farewell to family.

Levski President Vladimir Nikolov and the head coach of the women's team Radoslav Arsov also commented on the transfer, expressing pride in Tsveti's growth at the club and seeing the transfer as a testament to the successful work with young players and a result of the conditions provided for development at "Levski". Both wished her success in Italy and with the national team.

Levski wished Tsvetomira Mitkova success, thanked her for her contribution to the club, and reaffirmed their commitment to continue working to give more young talents the chance to pursue their volleyball dreams.
