Georgi Tatarov, the Bulgarian outside hitter in the squad ofGrottazzolina, will share the locker room with a true volleyball legend next season.Dragan Stankovic, the long-time Serbian national team player and middle blocker, officially announced that he is joining the team from Campania, leavingValsa Group Modena after five seasons.

The news came after the disappointing end of the playoffs for 5th place, in which Modena lost toAllianz Milano and lost its quota for participation in theChallenge Cup 2025–2026. Thus, the "yellow-blues" were left without European participation, and the season in "Palapanini" ended with a bitter taste.

After the last point, Stankovic did not hide his emotions and stated to the club television:

"Next year I will be inGrottazzolina, so again in A1 and we will see each other again in "Palapanini", but as opponents. It was a good five years, even the losses or disappointing seasons served for my development."
