The Hawaii diagonal and Bulgarian nationalKristian Titriyskiwas selected to the2025 AVCA All-America Second Team—one of the most prestigious individual honors in U.S. collegiate volleyball. Titriyski officially joins theelite of the best players in the country.
Throughout the season, he was among the leaders in all key metrics:
" 5.50 points per set
" 4.24 attack points per set
" 0.45 aces per set
" 3 matches with 20+ attack points
With his play, he led Hawaii to a spot among the top teams in the country and solidified his status as one of the strongest figures in the NCAA.
Meanwhile,Stiliyan Delibosov—middle blocker and freshman atCSUN, received a prestigious "Honorable Mention" from AVCA All-America. Although outside the top three teams, this recognition means that was discussed for inclusion in the First Team, which is extremely rare for a rookie.
In 2025, Delibosov impressed with:
" 48.3% attacking efficiency – second highest single-season result in CSUN history
" 201 attack points from 379 attempts (308 successful, 34 errors)
" 110 blocks (14 solo and 98 assisted) in 29 matches
"To be selected as an All-American as a freshman is rare, but for those who watch Stiliyan, it is no surprise," said CSUN head coach Theo Edwards. "He is mature for his age, with a deep understanding of the game and an exceptional work ethic."
What do the awards mean?
Second Team All-America- official selection among the best players in the country after the First Team.
Honorable Mention- "mentioned" players who do not make the three main teams but were considered for the First. This is a form of recognition for a high level of performance, especially for rookies.
