Protests by representatives and fans of Volleyball Club CSKA against the Sofia Municipality continue and escalated with a new surprising action. This afternoon, organized by OSK "CSKA", they blocked the key road artery "Shipchenski Prohod" Boulevard for about 20 minutes during rush hour.

The main reason for the dissatisfaction remainsthe refusal of the Sofia Municipal Council to name one of the new metro stations in the area "CSKA Sports Complex", and for now, the station is planned to remain named "Shipchenski Prohod". The "reds" supporters feel deceived on the matter.

This is not the first protest action. In previous days, fans applied the tactic of mass crossing of a pedestrian crossing on "Dragan Tsankov" Boulevard.

Despite information about a forthcoming third vote on the issue on May 15, the protests will not stop. Moremassive actions on CSKA's birthday are also planned, as well aseven larger blockades on May 22before and after the cup final.
