Bulgarian international Martin Atanasov finished the season in Turkey with silver medals 🥈🇧🇬, after his Galatasaray HDI Sigorta lost the Efeler League final series to Ziraat Bankkart with a 0:3 victory record. In the third match of the series, Atanasov appeared on the court briefly in the first and third sets but failed to score among the top performers.
🏆 Ziraat Bankkart sealed the finals convincingly after another 3:0 (25:18, 25:22, 25:21) win in Ankara and once again climbed to the top of Turkish volleyball after a one-year hiatus. Matthew Anderson was ubiquitous with 23 points, including 5 aces and 3 blocks, while Trevor Clevenot added 14 more.

For Galatasaray, the top scorer was Victor Cardoso with 12 points, and Olympic champion Jean Patry contributed 11.
✨ For Atanasov and Galatasaray, a new challenge awaits – participation in the Champions League next season, which is a deserved reward after a strong campaign and a place in the final of one of the strongest championships in Europe.
📜 Historically, before this final, Galatasaray had 16 titles, but last triumphed in 1989, and played a final in a playoff format for the first time. Ziraat Bankkart, on the other hand, is a finalist for the 7th time and has three titles from recent seasons (2020–2023).
