Cherno More BASK's middle blocker, Boris Nachev, is on the verge of a transfer to an elite European championship, according tovolleyweek.bg. The young talent, who is on the national team's extended squad list, is a transfer target for Italian club Sonepar Padova. The Varna club confirmed that negotiations are currently at an advanced stage. Sonepar Padova is playing playoffs for 5th place, having qualified for the semi-final against Valsa Group Modena. With a positive outcome, the team could play in the Challenge Cup next season, which is an opportunity for another Bulgarian to participate in European tournaments if Nachev joins Poro and company.
