Milko Bagdasarov leads the scoring charts at the U17 Boys' Volleyball World Championship in Doha after the end of the group stage.
The Bulgarian talent has accumulated 60 points in the national team's first three matches – 47 from attack, 6 from blocks, and 7 directly from serves. With this tally, Bagdasarov is solely in first place in the individual ranking.
Closest to him are Tunisian Yassine Malek and Brazilian Artur, who both have 57 points. Spaniard Monso and Mexican Romero each have 55.
Bulgaria's strong performance is not limited to Bagdasarov alone. Two more national players are among the top 16 scorers of the championship. Sali occupies 15th place with 39 points – 31 from attack, 6 from blocks, and 2 aces, while Ilov is 16th with 37 points, of which 21 are from attack, 9 from blocks, and 7 directly from serves.
Pavlov is 25th in the standings with 28 points – 22 from attack, 3 from blocks, and 3 aces. Richiu is 28th with 25 points, impressing with 9 successful blocks in addition to 14 points in attack and 2 aces. Dinchev has recorded 4 points.
Particularly indicative are Ilov's numbers, who, in addition to 9 points from blocks, also has 7 aces – as many as Bagdasarov. This shows that Bulgaria not only has the tournament's leading scorer but also several players who make a significant contribution in various elements.

Bagdasarov continues his strong summer, having been among the key figures in Bulgaria's winning of the Balkan Championship. Now he enters the knockout phase of the World Championship as the No. 1 scorer and as one of the tournament's great individual figures.
