Bulgarian star Alex Nikolov distinguished himself with 13 points for Cucine Lube Civitanova in the first final match of the Italian SuperLega, but his efforts were not enough for a victory. The Trento team convincingly won at home with a 3:0 (25-20, 25-23, 25-21) victory and took the lead in the series.

Fresher and much more focused, the hosts, led by coach Soli, fully utilized the fact that they had two fewer matches compared to Lube. Itas demonstrated tactical maturity and excellent organization, securing control of the match from the first serve to the last point.
Civitanova, for its part, tried to stay close to its opponent, but the accumulated fatigue from the epic Game Five against Perugia three days ago took its toll - both physically and mentally.
The MVP of the match was Alessandro Michieletto with 20 points (54% attack efficiency, 1 ace, and 4 blocks). For Lube, Adis Lagumdzija finished as the top scorer with 17 points, and besides Nikolov (13 pts), Gargiulo also had strong moments with 6 points.
📅 The next battle is scheduled for Thursday, May 1st, at 6:15 PM at the "Eurosuole Forum" in Civitanova. An even more heated atmosphere awaits us, and if Lube manages to regain their energy from the semifinals, nothing will be decided!
