Bulgaria will participate with seven teams in the European club volleyball tournaments, the draw for which will be held today at 13:00.
The CSKA team, which is the vice-champion, will start in the "Challenge Cup" for men, and for ladies, the "reds" will play in the CEV Cup.
In the men's competition, Levski will play in the Champions League. By winning the title and thanks to the national coefficient, the "blues" secured a place directly in the main phase of the most prestigious European club tournament.
Volleyball club Neftochimic 2010 announced that it will play in the "Challenge Cup" tournament, and Dea Sport is registered for the CEV Cup, as the holder of the Bulgarian Cup.
In the women's competition, Maritsa (Plovdiv) will again be part of the Champions League, as the champion of Bulgaria, and Levski is registered for the "Challenge Cup" tournament.

As expected, the interest of Bulgarian fans in the draw for the upcoming season of the biggest club competition in the world, CEV Champions League Volley, is huge.
In the men's competition, CEV confirmed that 20 teams will enter the 4th round (group stage) of the most elite European club competition, with 18 teams having fixed spots, while the other two spots are reserved for the winners of the 3rd round of the competition.
Three teams, respectively from Italy, Poland, and Germany, will be represented in the 4th round, with the champions of these leagues Sir Sicoma Monini Perugia, Jastrzębski Węgiel, and Berlin Recycling Volleys heading Pot 1 for the draw.
Pot 1 will also feature the vice-champions of the Italian and Polish leagues, Vero Volley Monza and Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie. However, this does not mean that they cannot face teams from the same countries, because they are also represented in Pot 2.
Allianz Milano, making its debut in the European club elite, and the returning Polish team Projekt Warszawa, which last appeared in the 2021/22 season, top the first places in Pot 2. Two German teams, Helios Grizzlys Giesen and SVG Lüneburg, are also in this pot, complemented by Turkey's Halkbank Ankara.
Pot 3 features two Belgian teams - Knack Roeselare and Greenyard Maaseik, and two French teams - Saint-Nazaire VB Atlantique and Chaumont VB 52, as well as another Turkish team - Fenerbahçe Medicana Istanbul, which is also returning after participating in the 2021/22 season.
The Bulgarian champion Levski Sofia is in Pot 4. The "blues," along with Czech Jihostroj České Budějovice and ACH Volley Ljubljana, Slovenia, are the teams that have already qualified for the group stage, with the other two to be known after the completion of the 3rd round of the CEV Champions League Men.

Bulgarian women's volleyball champion Maritsa (Plovdiv) will also find out her opponents in the Champions League groups for the 2024-2025 season today.
The Maritsa team will participate in the groups of the strongest European club tournament for the eighth consecutive time.
The teams will be divided into five groups of four teams each.
Maritsa was placed in Pot 3 and will certainly not play against Allianz MTV (Stuttgart, Germany), SSC Palmberg Schwerin (Germany), Vasas Óbuda (Budapest, Hungary), Calcit (Kamnik, Slovenia).
Possible opponents from Pot 1 are the Italian and Turkish giants - Antonio Carraro Imoco (Conegliano, Italy), Savino Del Bene (Scandicci, Italy), Fenerbahçe Medicana (Istanbul, Turkey), Eczacıbaşı Dynavit (Istanbul, Turkey), Vero Volley (Milan, Italy).
Pot 2 includes the teams of VakıfBank (Istanbul, Turkey), Developres Rzeszów (Poland), BKS Bostik ZGO Bielsko-Biała (Poland), Levallois Paris Saint Cloud (Paris, France), Neptunes de Nantes (Nantes, France).
In Pot 4, it will still not be clear who the opponent will be, because it contains the teams that will qualify for the groups through the qualifiers.

VC Neftochimic 2010 starts its participation from the 1/32 finals.
