Bulgarian volleyball once again has a reason to be proud – Maritsa Plovdivtriumphed asBulgarian women's champion for the 11th consecutive time, after a commanding 3-0 victory (25:17, 25:22, 25:19) overLevski Sofiain the third match of the final series! 🎉

Stroitel Hall in Plovdiv was packed to the brim, and the atmosphere was a true celebration! The Maritsa women closed the series with3-0 victories, leaving no doubt who the hegemon in our country is. From 2015 until today,no other team – neither women's nor men's, has achieved such a streak!

💛💙 The start of the match was promising –Borislava Saykovaclosed the first set with a powerful attack.Boryana Angelovascored decisively through the middle in the second set, and in the third setSaykova once again brought the last pointfor the champions.

11 titles, 10 Cups and 1 Supercup = 22 trophiesThis is a golden double for the season, after the girls ofAhmetcan Erşimşekalso won the Bulgarian Cup in January. Thus, Maritsa's club display case now shines with 22 awards.

🎶 Final with anthem and moving gesturesThe match began with the national anthem, and in the stands were the president of the Bulgarian Volleyball FederationLyubomir Ganev, the head of Demax League PeterKanevand the Plovdiv deputy mayorAtanas Uzunov. A sweet moment before the first serve excited the hall –second referee Ivelina Ilievareceived a prom invitation from the students of the English High School, her students, with whom she also shares a classroom. In the hall were also the national coaches of Bulgaria Toni Zetova and Gianlorenzo Brеngini.

🌍 Champions League is calling!With the title, Maritsa secured a direct spot inthe group stage of the Champions Leaguein the 2025/26 season. Thus, the team will continue to representBulgarian club volleyball at the highest European level!
