After a 3:1 victory over Brescia in the second match of the Serie A2 final playoff,Cuneo returned to the highest division of Italian volleyball - SuperLega! But this success is not just a triumph for the local public -Cuneo has deep roots in Bulgarian volleyball! 🌟
👉 Exactly through this club passed two of the most iconic figures in our native volleyball history - Lyubomir Ganev, current president of the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation, who this year celebrated 30 years since his last match with this team

and Vladimir Nikolov, current president of Levski Sofia and former captain of the national team, who lifted the championship cup with Bre Banca Lannutti Cuneo in 2010.

Both left a bright mark in Cuneo's era of rise. 🔥🇧🇬
Other big names from Bulgarian volleyball also played for the team, such as Borislav Kyosev (1992/93) and Tsvetan Sokolov (2012/13).
🔵 Last night, 4,700 spectators, including the passionate fan groupBlu Brothers, celebrated the club's return to the elite. All Cuneo players finished the match with double-digit points, andcaptain Daniele Sottilewas chosen as the MVP of the final series.

Cuneo, who finished the regular season in fourth position, prevailed over Evolution Green Aversa with Gordan Ljutskanov in the quarterfinals, and in the semifinals defeated Tinet Prata di Pordenone.
For the city of Cuneo, this will be a return to SuperLega after Bre Lannutti Cuneo from 2013/14.
